On November 1 local time, continuous heavy rainfall triggered a mudslide near the 46-km Road Project undertaken by China Railway Seventh Group in Kenya, posing significant threats to the lives and property of nearby residents. The project team promptly responded to the disaster-relief call from the Kenyan government and the Highway Authority, swiftly mobilizing personnel and equipment to manage the landslide source, repair damaged road sections, and protect completed works. They also assisted in clearing affected areas, restoring drainage, and supporting the resettlement of impacted communities.
